Instructions for the oral part
AIM- Present your company. TASK DESCRIPTION – You must present your company in front of a group of investors since your company needs money due to the economical crisis because of the COVID-19. For this presentation you have to take into account the following aspects: - company's main activity and business sector, - its headquarte or main office, - when it was founded, - workforce (how many employees), - market share, - reason for success, After the company's presentation, you must perform a 5-minute discussion in which you must narrate the situation of, the company at this moment. Describe the problems that this company has due to the pandemic and, say how much money you need for the company and how you will spend it and why. You must present your ideas either in a Power Point Presentation, Inphographic or Genially. Discourses will be tape recorded under students’ consent to guarantee assessment reliability. The teacher may ask questions during the presentation.
Instructions for the oral part (part 2)
PROCEDURE: 1. Students will work in pairs. 2. Each student will choose THREE options from the Investment plan (clic here) for presenting to the investor, however, if you consider another option different from the proposed ones you can talk about it. 3. Then, each student will give the reasons of their choices in which: a. They describe the situation of the company using narrative tenses. b. They give an opinion or idea for solving the company’s problems. c. The two students will be asked by their teacher about the investment plan choices they present. Listen to these recording and pay attention to the way the presenter develops her agenda. They are recording from pages 27 and 28. Also, consider the Useful Language from page 27
