An adverb of frequency tells us how often something happens.

FOR EXAMPLE:

“I always do my homework on time”. In this sentence always shows us the frequency (how often) I do my homework on time.

“She usually goes out”. In this sentence usually shows us the frequency (how often) she goes out.
