The Count of Monte Cristo

My favourite book/film is The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. It´s an adventure story. It takes place in France. It´s about a young sailor. Some soldiers arrest him and then take him to a prision on an island. It´s really exiting.

Edmond Dantes is a good-looking young French sailor. He is very enthusiastic, admirable and joyful . However, he can be a bit overcritical and narrow minded. Edmond is often a bit rude with the other sailors on board. He´s quite tall and thin. His big almond eyes stand out clearly agains his white complexion. It is a pity that this young, qualified sailor ended up in prision.
