Did + subject + verb + complement?

short answers

Yes, I/you/he/she/it/we/they did.

Did I/you/he/she/it/we/they go to Paris?

No, I/you/he/she/it/we/they didn't/did not.

For Wh- questions we cannot use short answers. We have to include the information the question requires.
