Course Objective

At the end of the course the student will be able to identify the key elements in the design of a flexible, organizational architecture in order to respond to challenges of the business environment, which should be designed to provide both vertical and horizontal information between processes, with the aim of meeting the strategic objectives that add value to the organization.

  2. Pick two of these companies. Explain the structural characteristics of the organizations you picked using the four structural dimensions seen in class (formalization, specialization, hierarchy of authority and centralization).
