Your name is Amanda. You are at a Summer Language Camp. You have met new friends or you thought they were your friends until now, when you woke up in the middle of the night, locked in a strange room and don't even know by whom...

Characters

Introduction

Mission

All you have with you is your backpack with your diary. Read it carefully and try to find out who might have wanted to have you locked. To do that take quizzes which remind you about things your friends said. You suspect not all of them were in cahoots. After some quizzes you will get clues. You have to find out who your real friend is and get yourself out of there.

The camp is so lit! We are learning loads of new vocabulary and a lot of slang words. I am loving it! We are very busy - no time to shoot the breeze! I have some new friends. Melissa, Donna, Samantha and Mark. Melissa is a bit arrogant - very rich and stussy. Samantha is often childish and whinging a lot. Donna is my roommate. She is very shy and unassuming.. And Mark... is handsome.

- lit - great, cool- to shoot the breeze - killing time with idle chit-chat or other meaningless things - stussy - trendy - to cram - to study a lot especially before a test - to crash - to fall asleep suddenly after being extremely exhausted - to spill the tea - to gossip

Donna says Mark likes me. I don't know. I wouldn't mind, though..

- a snack - a very attractive female- gucci - good, ok, doing fine - make waves - to make trouble or be irritating - lame - boring, in bad taste, not worth attention - to take a raincheck - to reschedule a meeting because of some inconvenience - to plead the fifth - used when you don't want to answer a difficult question about your actions or comments

Today I found out Samantha is arachnophobic. I would never have guessed, she seems so brave and daring! And apparently she is insomniac and can't sleep without taking sleeping pills!

Melissa and Samantha seem not to get along well. Samantha said she had caught Melissa snooping about her things. I don't think it is true.

Mark asked me out! I got so hyped. I borrowed a few bucks from Donna just in case we were gonna go Dutch. But he didn't show up! He didn't even call! What a creep! I hate him!Melissa saw Samantha with Mark. I couldn't believe it! She tried to comfort me and told me to forget about him as there were plenty more fish in the sea. She is such a good friend..

- to pass the buck - to deflect responsibility onto sb else - a buck - a dollar - hyped - excited - to knock - means to speak negatively about sb or sth, to badmouth - to go dutch - used when (usually on a date) everyone pays for themselves - to bail on someone - to leave, abandon or quit sth abruptly at the last minute - creep - a strange, weird, unpleasant person

Mark came up to me today in class and said he wanted to meet to explain himself. I am meeting him tomorrow. Apparently, he had lost his phone. Tonight, I am going out for pizza with Melissa. I am not gonna take a raincheck because of him!..

Mellisa,

What exactly do you want to achieve by locking me up here? Yes, I won't be able to go on the date with Amanda, but only today. Are you gonna keep me locked here frever? If I don't get out of here I want you to know I have never regretted breaking up with you. I won't get back to you even over my dead body! Literally! M.
