Do króla to utwór otwierający pierwszy cykl Satyr Ignacego Krasickiego. Zbiór ten ujrzał światło dzienne w roku 1779. „Z polecenia autora wiersz (...) trafił do rąk Stanisława Augusta do oceny. Monarcha wprowadził pewne poprawki. Generalnie jednak utwór spodobał się władcy”
