USE: Imaginary situations, hypothesisStructure: If + PAST simple, would + verb could + verb might + verb For the 3 person singular we use the plural IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD + verb
THIRD CONDITIONAL
USE: An impossible situation because it has already happened, a regret or hypothesis about a past situation. Structure: If + PAST PERFECT, would have PARTICIPLE (-ed/third column)
