Activity II. States of Matter and Flow of Energy

Pairs Activity. 1.Watch the videos 2.Take notes. 3.Do a graphic organizer on the 5 states of matter and their characteristics. 4.In the same graphic organizer or in a separate one explain the changes of phases. Be sure to be explicit on the flow of energy. 5.Load your documents individually as a PDF.

Activity IV. Super Hero

Physical Properties

Be sure to study and understand them from your chapter resources.

Team Activity. 1.Define the values that your superhero will champion. (Review what you learned in "Ética y valores".) (3 to 5 values.) 2.What superpower will he/she have to accomplish his/her mission. (One for each value.) 3.Design the suit specifying the materials it would be made of. Each material selection should be based on its physical properties that will enhance or enable the use of the superpowers. (At least 5 different materials.) Investigation is required, be sure that the material you chose exhibits the physical properties necessary. 4.Make a poster of the superhero wearing his/her suit on a cardboard. Human proportions should be followed. (Review what you learned in "Art".) 5.Be sure to know your physical properties to overcome the attack of the villain (Miss Verónica) in a 3 - 5 min presentation to the class. 6.Upload your poster and a table with the value, the superpower, the material chosen and the physical properties it has as a PDF. Even though it is a team activity be sure to upload everything individually.
