CONVERSION FACTORS
1. How many moles will be if you have 2.3X1024 silver atoms? 2. How many oxygen atoms are there in 122 molecules of Copper (II) Nitrate: CuNO3? 3.How many molecules are in 230 grams of CoCl2
Problems to start: ONE SUSTANCE Single stoichiometry
In summary, the steps to follow to solve reaction stoichiometry problems are the following:
Mol to Mol
Potassium chlorate (KClO3) is obtained by the reaction of chlorine (Cl2) and a solution of potassium hydroxide (KOH) also potassium chloride (KCl) and water (H2O) are produced in the reaction. Calculate the amount of potassium chlorate, in moles, obtained by reacting 10 mol of potassium hydroxide with the sufficient amount of chlorine. Calculate the amount of chlorine, in mol, that reacts completely with 5 mol of potassium hydroxide.
Using reactions

Balance the reaction Convert the amount of grams of A into moles of A Convert the moles of A into moles of B using the molar ratios from the BALANCED chemical reaction Convert the moles of B into grams of B

When you´ve finally balanced that equation
You start with the 25 g of glucose for all the other calculations...
C6H12O6 + 6O2 --> 6CO2 + 6H2O
Mass to mass
Glucose (C6H12O6) reacts with oxygen (O2) to form carbon dioxide (CO2) and water vapor (H2O). How much mass of oxygen (in grams) does it take to react with 25 grams of glucose? How many grams of carbon dioxide and water will be formed?

Limiting reagent
Molecular hydrogen (H2) reacts with molecular oxygen (O2) to form water. If 40 g of hydrogen react with 40 g of oxygen, will all the masses of the reagents be consumed? Who is the limiting reagent?
