How to improve your writing in English at the C level

Intro :Good writers read a lot. They pay attention to detail from spelling to sentence structure and vocabulary.

• Make sure you understand the basics of the written language in English: go from sentence to paragraph.
• Do not build sentences from the 'automatic translator' in your head, but from your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. If in doubt, look up your grammar books, dictionary, etc.
• Then, link your sentences together into cohesive, meaningful paragraphs.
• Your tools are grammar and vocabulary. Use them with a purpose in mind; do you want to describe, convince, inform, apologise, amuse?
• Do you want to sound neutral, formal or informal?
