- GORDON MUSEUM OF PATHOLOGY -

Hodgkin Building @ Guy's Campus

The Gordon Museum is the largest medical museum in the UK and contains many rare and unique artifacts. This includes Lister’s antiseptic spray and the original specimens of kidneys, adrenal glands and lymph nodes from Richard Bright, Thomas Addison and Thomas Hodgkin.

There's also a "modern mummy", the body of Alan Billis who was mummified by a team of experts in 201 using the same technique Egyptians used centuries prior.

Strand Building @ Strand Campus

It is seen by many as the spiritual heart of the College and a focus for Christian worship. It is located on the first floor of the King's building directly above the Great Hall and is a remarkable piece of Victorian architecture.

It provides a full range of hospital services for our local communities and have integrated community services in Lambeth and Southwark into the Trust.

They also provide specialist services for patients from further afield, including cancer, cardiac, kidney, women’s and orthopaedic services. The Evelina London Children’s Hospital is also located here.
