My Spiritual Autobiography

All I can...

A place that stands out to me the most is The Rock Church. I was raised in this church since I was born and never didn't live a day in it.

The location is right on Queens Boulevard in Elmhurst. It used to be a movie theather but was later andonded.

When founded, they kept the ambiance of the stage and left it as it was and created a community church to the public.

Remember from my years of being a kid, is being at church.

I can remember....

Being in awe with the environment around me. I felt that everyday when prayers were done at Sunday service, I was in shock. To see my mother follow the steps of all the other moms there; to pray.

Growing up...

My mom helped me to further understand what faith truly represents in the spiritual world. That good is to come to us and our loved ones soon.

I remember asking my mom if she was to help me pray like the adults do when it is verry intense.

I, have expereicned many people in my time go to. church to pray and seek comofrt.I would see the joy that they felt from it.

I have learned that. faith is something one has to hold strong to, to feel connected to God.

“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”― Mahatma Gandhi
