Earth and EnvironmentDay activities
First we watched a video on how to take care about our planet!
In class we discussed which picture we like more.
When Simba became King Pride Rock took back on its natural form. The plants started to grow back and food wasn't a problem.
When Scar was in charge, Pride Rock looked dark and there was no food
MAGICMILK EARTH
Time for a STEM activity
We decided to make a Magic Milk Earth reaction. We poured milk into a dish and then scattered some drops of blue and green food coloring. Then we added some drops of food soap. The result was so pretty. Like our blue-green earth. Then we decided to add a drop of "pollution" (red food dye). We watched how the red drop spread and reached almost every part of our Milk Earth. It was incredible to see what such a small drop can do. Then we started talking about pollution and our planet and what we can do about!
Our motto was: Give me five + five! After we did our little experiment we talked about what we can do to protect our environment and here are our results!
Earth is in our hands!
