PRESENT SIMPLE

We use the Present Simple to talk about: 1. Habits and routines: Anna goes to the gym on Mondays. 2. General truth: You play tennis with a racket // The Earth goes around the Sun. 3. Timetables (hours): Our plane takes off at 12.30pm. 4. Permanent states: John works at the Central Hotel. (*Trabaja allí ahora y no tiene pensado cambiar).

RECUERDA: El verbo de la 3ª persona del singular LLEVA UNA 'S' EN LA AFIRMATIVA. SIN EMBARGO, ESA 'S' DESAPARECE EN LA NEGATIVA Y LA PREGUNTA.
