THE CANARY ISLANDS ARE EIGHT.

From largest to smallest are Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and La Graciosa.

The Archipelago includes many smaller islands and islets: Isla de Lobos in Fuerteventura and Alegranza, Montaña Clara, Roque del Este and Roque del Oeste in Lanzarote.

The Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands consist in two provinces: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
