Step 1 - observe the model

Ralph's uncle sends this postcard from Burlington to some friends at home. Read the postcard carefully.

Pat and James Miller

321 Cornell Road

Portland, Oregon

870121

Dear Pat and James, Burlington is a very nice city. Yersterday, we visited an interesting museum with old trains, boats, and bicycles. In the afternoon, we walked around the old part of the city. Then, we wanted to catch the bus tour, but it started to rain a lot. We had to go back home. The baby is doing well. She loves to play with her brother, Ralph. She is learning to crawl with him! She feels happy. My sister and her family will come to the mountains next Christmas. We are going to ski together! It will be fun!

Love, Michael

Step 5 - publish your writing

Review the changes and corrections. You can create your own postcard using a cardboard and draw a picture. Write your text on the other side. If you want, "send" it to a family member by leaving the postcard inside your mailbox. You can also send a digital postcard, or create your own digital postcard and send it by e-mail. Share it with your teacher and with Amco amco_iberia!
