Your guide to your new commute calendar!

In order to measure your sustainability journey, receive hidden achievements for taking unique commutes, and engage in challenges with colleagues, gRiders will need to do the following:

• Get set up in LogMyCommute
• Log all commutes (including working from home!) using the new calendar
• Explore all of the fun challenges
• Get set up on mobile

Open up

Click here to openLogMyCommute.gene.com

Click "LOGIN"

Click on"Genentech SSO"and sign in using your Genentech crednetials:

• UNIX ID
• Password

Saving a Commute

Save a frequently used trip to speed up commute logging

Locate "My Commutes" on your Dashboard.

Click "Let's Go" to begin to set your commute preferences!

Fill out the form with your home & work addresses and your commute preferences.

Click "Save" and you are ready to log!

Logging a Commute

It all starts with logging a trip! Click through to learn how.

Select the date that you took your trip begin to log

Locate "Log Your Trips" on the dashboard

Review the time and mode of travel - click on "Log Trip(s)"

Input your destinations

You can do so by either entering custom locations or selecting the commute that you saved during the previous step.

Explore Your Options

Planning a Trip

Under "Resources" click "Plan A Trip"

Confirm that the following information is accurate:

• Home address
• Work address
• Departure time
• Date

Check out the travel time, distance, and lbs of CO2 emissions for each commute mode available to you.

Click on an option to expand and view step-by-step directions for each travel mode

And collect incentives for certain commute modes

Click "Reimbursements & Incentives"on the top menu

Log your trip using the calendar if you haven't already

Click here to learn how to log a trip

Click "Reimbursements & Incentives"on the right

Click on the trip that you would like to confirm

To Claim a Reimbursement:

To Claim an Incentive:

Input the dollar amount that you paid for your trip, then click "Create Reimbursement"

Click "Confirm"

Repeat this process for each trip that requires reimbursement

Achievements

Earn achievements by taking unique commute modes or reaching goals throughout the month

Track Your Impact

View the environmental impact of your commute choices! Track your pounds of CO2 saved and non-single occupancy vehicle trips. As you choose more sustainable commute modes, you can watch your "forest" of trees that you saved continue to grow! You can also click "View All My Stats" to view more metrics

Compete with Colleagues

Participate in cool challenges with colleagues

Click on "Challenges"

Here you can view the various active challenges

When you click on "View Leaderboards" you can expand to see your standing!

Connect on the Go

Get set up on mobile

Locate the "Track Your Trips with the Commute Tracker" section, below "Resources"

Click "Get Connected"

Download the Commuter Tracker by RideAmigos app on App Store or Google Play

Click "Yes, Let's Go!"

Open the app and click "Get Started"

Type in your @gene.com email addressClick "Connect"

Click "Let's Go!"

Type your pin from the pop-up window on your dashboard into the box on the app that says "Connect Pin"

Answer some last few questions...

Confirm your home and work addresses

Select your most frequently used commute mode

...And you're all set!
