- State the purpose of the presentation.
- Present an outline or summary of your talk.

To organize your ideas:
I will concentrate on the following points: First of all, … Then…, And finally, …
To engage the audience:
Refer to a problem to think about: Suppose you are… how would you….?
Begin with a question, a surprising comment or something that makes your audience think.
