So,my photo montage features me sleeping in my bed (because the lockdown has been an occasion for me to sleep a lot), surrounded by a piano and my favorite moment from the sheet of a song I learned during the lockdown next to it (coming from Westworld, a series I watched in english during the lockdown), a lot of characters from games I played during the lockdown, an xbox controller, the headphones I often listened to music with, one of my iguanas, my cats (because during the lockdown I could get closer to them), some sushis I made with my siblings and my cat looking at it, an art project (The Great Wall of China model I made with sugar), a pressure cooker I made dishes with, some copybooks and the logo of my virtual learning environment (because I studied a lot during the lockdown), my iPad, a TV displaying the netflix logo (because I watched series on netflix) and a carpet because I did some sport.

Since the beginning of the lockdown I haven't had any problem to set up a routine and stay at home, because actually, I’m not the kind of person who is always hanging outside, I’m more the type who stays at home playing video games with some friends. But still, I miss going to school to see some of my buddies or go out for a running session… But whatever, here is my lockdown routine, illustrated with a montage that I did: in the morning, I wake up around 9 o’clock. My first activity of the day is doing some workout. Indeed, I think it’s very important for my physical and mental health to let off steam and do some sport. Then I spent an hour and half doing homework, that’s actually not my favorite part but still I have to do it! When I’m done with the morning homework, I play video games for a bit and I have my launch. In the afternoon, I take another hour and a half to do homework again. I I think that splitting my time of work is a good way to be efficient and it allows to be fully focused when I’m working. If I had to find a positive aspect of the lockdown, it would be definitely the fact that I can organize myself the way I want and that I’m not stuck with schedules. Once I’m finally rid of the homework, I watch Netflix or Disney + movies. Lately I really took pleasure watching my first movies in English without subtitles, of course these were movies for kids like Cars. I still have issues for the other movies because characters are talking too fast… Anyway! I also play a lot video games because it keeps me connected with some Highschool friends. I also take some time to see how things are going for my friends and family through social networks. This was my lockdown routine, hope you enjoyed it!

We can see a lot of social networks logos because I spend a lot of time on Snapchat ,Instagram and Youtube (it’s so entertaining). watch Netflix frequently because there are good series, movies , documentares and mangas. I listen to music when I play and when I do my homework. I work and I do my homework, it’s important. I play with my friends on Fortnite , Fifa and Warzone. I play table tennis with my family, it’s such fun. Finally, I sleep a lot in lockdown because there is no alarm clockin the morning to wake me up! Léo

WHEN HOME BECOMES A PLACE OF INVENTION

Decorating my bedroom

Lockdown gave me the chance to express my creativity. Usually, I don't have time or energy to try others way to express myself differently than with the drawing. So, during this lockdown I discovered that I liked to decorate my bedroom. I combinated the two and that is the result. I made a collage on my wall with my drawings, pictures of people I admire (Simone Veil, Marie Curie...) albums' pictures of bands I like (Metallica, Eagles, Guns n' Roses...) and pictures I found in magazines. That represents me and my personality.

Eight movies in one drawing

Shania, see the caption on the next page

I'm introducing my project about what inspires me. My drawing does not represent something but movies. Well,I took eight movies which really inspired me during the lockdown. So, six of them are Ghibli's film. I think this is too long to quote them one by one so I'm going just to say that they are Japanese animations and by the way romantic films. It's itwhat helps me for drawing and for my English / Japanese understanding (the subtitles are in english and the voices are in japanese). Those are very beautiful films and I advise them so much. Well the second one is about the man in the corner at the left on the top is a teacher in an anime, who is Great Teacher Onizuka (or GTO). I drew him because he makes me laugh so hard that I'm crying.

And the last one is the man with the hat. I think you can guess who is he. This is Willy Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. During the lockdown I've watched this film eight times in three weeks. I'm mad about Willy Wonka because he is very funny and expressive (especially in English) and his chuckles and remarks make me cry of laugh out. Well, that's the end of my "caption" who on reality is a text. Thank you for reading this ! Shania

LET'S PAY TRIBUTE TO OUR CAREGIVERS

How to properly protect our children and grandparents,Or even compel them to that lockdown, All these days that are repeated by heart. All these people who are left alone All these families who hope to find their loved ones one day or another All these old people who must absolutely stay safe And all these people who break containment like murderers But fortunately All these health workers Who are every day, every hour, every minute, every second ready to save lives.
