Il se forme avec l'auxiliaire BE conjugué au présent simple, suivi par le verbe auquel s'ajoute -ing.
I am studying English. You are dancing hip hop.* He/She is running fast.** We are swimming in the sea.** They are reading the lesson.
Attention aux changements orthographiques : *dance > on enlève le -e avant d'ajouter -ing. **règle des 3/1 > on double la consonne.
