One-Two sylables

RULES

A. In most cases add ‘-est’ to the end of the adjective.

Example: Sally is the smallest in the class.

B. Adjectives ending in ‘-y’. Change the ‘-y’ to ‘i’ and add ‘–est’ at the end of the word

Example:Sally is the happiest person in the world.

C. If an adjective ends in (consonant, vowel consonant) we double the last word..

Example:Atacames is hottest city in Ecuador

D. Irregular forms

Example:London is the furthest

REMEMBER to highlight two people, objects, countries, etc. from a group you use superlative adjectives. Use THE after the adjective
