1 okres warunkowy

Użycie:

  • Pierwszego okresu warunkowego używamy gdy mówimy o wydarzeniu, które PRAWIE na pewno się wydarzy (ok.90% szans)
  • np: Pójdę na imprezę jeśli mnie zaproszą.
  • First Conditional stosujemy kiedy chcemy powiedzieć, że coś zrobimy JEŚLI zostaną spełnione pewne warunki. np: Jeśli znajdę Twój portfel to Ci go oddam.

Konstrukcja:

Tworząc zdania w 1 okresie warunkowym podstawą jest czas Present Simple oraz will if = jeśli will + not = won't

Positive - zdania twierdzące

Zdanie można zrobić na 2 sposoby:

  • If + Present Simple + will + bezokolicznik lub
  • will + bezokolicznik + if + Present Simple

If I eat too much sweets I will be sick.I will be sick if I eat too much sweets

  • If it rains I will stay home. lub
  • I will stay home if it rains.
  • If I get lost I will use my phone. lub
  • I will use my phone if I get lost.

Negative- zdania przeczące

Zdanie można zrobić na 2 sposoby. WILL zamienia się w WON't

  • If + Present Simple + won't + bezokolicznik lub
  • won't + bezokolicznik + if + Present Simple

If I eat fruit I won't be sick.I won't be sick if I eat fruit.

Questions - zdania pytające

Tworząc pytanie najlepiej zaczać od WILL.

  • Will you marry him if he asks?
  • Will you go out if it's sunny?

Pytanie można też zacząć od "WH-" np. What/Where/Who....

  • What will you buy if you get money?
  • Where will you go if you get lost?

Examples

  • I will pass the exam if I study hard - zdam egzamin jeśli będę się dużo uczyć.
  • If I study hard I will pass the exam - jeśli będe się dużo uczyć to zdam egzamin.
  • He won't be thirsty if he drinks some water - On nie będzie spragniony jeśli się napije wody.
  • If he drinks some water he won't be thirsty. - jeśli on napije się wody to nie będzie spragniony.

Practise:

1) I .......... take the kids for a picnic ............. it rains. 2) ...... you buy a car, I ....... sell my motorbike. 3) ....... you really want me to, I ........ take the dog to the vet. 4) I ........ take the dog to the vet ....... you really want me to. 5) Peter ...... be mad at me ......... I don't come

Answers:

1) I won't take the kids for a picnic if it rains. 2) If you buy a car, I will sell my motorbike. 3) If you really want me to, I will take the dog to the vet. 4) I will take the dog to the vet if you really want me to. 5) Peter will be mad at me if I don't come
