The non-living components of an ecosystem are called BIOTIC FACTORS.

A group of the same individuals is called a population. Different populations that interact with each other are called a community
What is flora? The word ‘flora’ comes from the Latin word ‘Flora’ who was believed to be the princess of flowers. Flora is a noun used to describe all the plants, fungi and bacteria that may be present in a particular region.
What is fauna?
Fauna comes from two Greek words ‘Faunus’, the name of a Roman god and ‘Fauna’, the name of a mythical Roman goddess. It is a collective noun that is used to describe all the animal life in a particular region.
