THE LEPRECHAUN

Another symbol of Ireland is the Leprechaun, an elf who lives in the forest. According to myth he hides his pot of gold and will only give it to the person who catches him. The Irish enjoy their myths and folk tales.

It is Ireland's Official National Holiday and it is celebrated on March 17th all over the country and all over the world by people of Irish Heritage.

The World famous beer Guinnes is from Ireland. It originated in the Dublin brewery of Arthur Guinness.
