CHAPTER 7

Wearing clothes

• Many years after Sir´s death, Andrew began to wear clothes, but George didn´t know why he would do such a thing.
• George said that humans cover themselves to keep their bodies warm and clean and to protect themselves, but Andrew said that he felt naked without clothes.
• Andrew also said that he feels different from the rest of the robots on Earth because he is the only one who is free.
• People stared at him when he started to wear clothes, and that made him uneasy.
• He also tried to not wear clothes in front of Little Miss, because he knows it would bother her.
• In one of Little Miss´ visits, she convinced George to join the local government, as his grandfather had done.

CHAPTER 8

A bad day for Andrew

• Andrew wanted to improve his language and learn about humans, so he decided to go to the town library.
• He went without George because he was a free robot now. But Andrew never made it to the library.
• He got lost on his way there, so he asked two humans for help. But they just made fun of him because he wore clothes and he was free.
• They ordered him to take off his clothes, and he did because he had to carry out The Second Law. They also were about to order him to dismantle himself, but George came right away.
• George was so mad and made them go away. Then he asked Andrew why he wanted to go to the library.
• Andrew answered him saying that he wanted to write a book about how robots feel, something never witnessed before.

CHAPTER 9

A new law

• Little Miss found out about what happened to Andrew and she begged her son to make a law, so a robot can never be ordered to harm himself.
• George and his son Paul worked so hard for seven years to win the battle.
• George even started to wear modern and loose clothes to persuade young people into his idea.
• After all this time, they won the legal battle, but Little Miss was ill and was about to die.
• Eventually, Little Miss passed away with her hands in Andrew´s hands, and she gave him her last smile.

CHAPTER 10

At Paul´s office

• Even with the new law protecting robots, humans still disrespected robots, especially Andrew because he wore clothes. He wanted to look like a human being now more than ever before, so he decided to ask Paul for some help.
• Andrew hired a car and went to Paul´s office, but he noticed that Paul looked pretty anxious because he was afraid of someone harming or hurting Andrew.
• Andrew talked with Paul about his new book, he told that it was going to be so successful and that he felt pleased with it because of the profit he was going to obtain from it.
• Andrew asked Paul a favor, Andrew wanted Paul to talk to US Robotics and get him an appointment with the director of the company.
• To do so, they had to lie and to threaten them, because US Robotics didn´t like them at all.

CHAPTER 11

An apponintment at US Robotics

• It wasn´t a simple task, but Paul managed to get Andrew an appointment with the director of US Robotics.
• US Robotics makes robots that aren´t useful after 25 years, but Andrew is the only one that went beyond the limit. And for the director of the company that was an embarrassment for them.
• They also talked about the androids that the company has made.
• Unfortunately for Andrew, they stopped making them, because they weren´t able to sell them.
• Andrew asked the director to replace his body with an android´s body, but he refused to do it, even even if he pays the expenses.
• Paul got furious, and he told the director that if he doesn't perform the surgery on Andrew they would sue him. In the end, he accepted.

CHAPTER 12

A new robotic body

• It took Andrew numerous months to recover a little bit from his huge operation. He could barely realize simple action smoothly and easily.
• He was gradually progressing and he spent hours in front of the mirror rehearsing his movements. Also, clothes didn´t look odd on him anymore.
• Paul and Andrew were talking about Andrew becoming a Robo-biologist. But to do so, he had to study himself, as he was the only organic robot on Earth.
• Paul told Andrew about the modifications that US Robotics have made so that the difficulties that Andrew had given them wouldn´t reoccur.
• Another thing they talked about was that Paul was the last Martin and that he would give all his money to Andrew.
• Paul passed away a few months after, and Andrew became more firm to follow the path that he had chosen
