Winners: First Place: PNIN A mobile App and a device that allows patients to replace normal crutches by providing them with the stability and support they need in their legs. Second Place: Arabic Sign Language An application that translates sign language into Arabic by using the mobile camera. Third Place: Draw It A tool built to understand children’s psychology through an artificial intelligence algorithm.

Winners: First Place: زمرة Zomra An application for blood donation aiming to contribute to reducing the percentage of diseases and deaths resulting from the lack of donors. Second Place: المرافق الطبي الذكي Smart Medical Companion A set of medical sensors connected to a mobile application to provide health follow-up through the technology of the Internet of things and artificial intelligence with advanced biological sensors. Third Place: مودة للدعم النفسي Mawadda for Mental Support A platform in Arabic language which facilitates access to psychological support services.

Winners: First Place: Moeen An application that utilizes Braille and simple sign language in medical prescriptions and medication usage instructions for elderlies and special needs. Second Place: Medical Laboratory Automation - AlBalqaa’ Applied University. Calibration the medical laboratory environment to provide the best climate for the medical samples. Third Place: Acculab – PSUT An application that aims to elaborate the Medical analysis report for patients in a simple language, as well as easing the communication process between patients, doctors and the Medical Laboratory..

Winners: First place: SANAD – Applied Science University A mobile application to connect patients with healthcare providers to support the telemedicine concept Second place: Pulse – Amman Arab University The Pulse application helps people in critical situations to save their lives knowing that with one click help will be at their own doorstep. Third place: Skin Care – Petra University A mobile application that detects and classifies skin cancer using deep learning (Convolution neural networks).
3rd HAAC- 2018
Winners: First place: Feasible multi-task sensor – Petra University It is a non-invasive, low-cost, small size, portable, user-friendly vein detection system, that reduces pain and inflammation caused by false venipuncture, increases needles insertion success rate. Second place: Takallam – Petra University A device that will help people who stutter by decreasing their stuttering issue from 40% to 70%. Third place: Health Bank – Applied Science University A solution that helps patients to distribute their medications they will never use to other patients who are in need.
2nd HAAC - 2017
Winners: First place: Portable Neck Treatment Device – Petra University. An automated device that helps solving neck pain with an affordable cost, where the physician/physiotherapist can adjust the device with a specific settings and can be accessed through a mobile or a computer, the provider can adjust the heat, vibration and stretching. Second place: Taafi – Princess Sumaya University for Technology A platform to connect patients with healthcare professional and enable patients to showcase their medical condition where healthcare providers can bid on offering the required treatment. This solution will help patients whom cannot financially afford the treatment. Third place: I Care – Petra University Device will be used to measure some signs from the human body and alert the device user with important readings to take the corrective measure.

Winners: First place: Fingerprint-based access control for patient medical records in the emergency situations – Princess Sumaya University for Technology The idea is to grant the medical team a proper access to a patients’ medical record remotely with the use of a fingerprint identification system. Second place: AIM Program – Jordan University of Science and Technology A program that helps nurses fulfill various roles, and to be more accessible source of information. Third place: Diabetes Mobile App – Hashemite University A Mobile application the will present the alarm at the right time to take a dose of insulin or diabetes medication According to information that was put by the patient.
