We are a for-purpose enterprise that envisions to enhance the lives and livelihoods of the rural people through appropriate design of interventions. One of our interventions is to scale up appropriate innovations through local entrepreneurship and institutions. Impact - Networking and Mentoring Support: “Rural Caravan works with tribal communities, trying to identify and build business and livelihood solutions for them. The constraints from tribal communities are so different from even rural India. The funding support was useful in undertaking a couple of high failure risk pilots with the tribal communities. The learning from these pilots has helped us to build stronger case studies for future implementation. Furthermore, on the mentorship, the concept in itself is a very wonderful undertaking. People from a vast set of experiences coming forward to share their knowledge. In my specific case, Mr. Clyne was helpful in sharing leads to couple of funding and grant making organisations. Mr. Clyne’s experience in setting up community-based business was insightful.”

Bags’N Stories empowers women in rural areas to earn a steady income by making high quality cotton bags and other products. It also addresses environmental issues by providing sustainable alternative options to synthetic materials and dyes, through the use of organic cotton in the products. Impact: The support from Impact link has helped BAG'N STORIES in 2 ways.
1. The Rebuilding Income steams tool kit has helped us reflect on our strengths and weaknesses, which helped us compartmentalize our effort for better results; better orders and bringing new product line.
This also has improved our relationship with our stakeholders (Women).
2. Financial support enhanced our tools and skill base, and gave freedom to venture into a new product line-up. And also it has helped us to open our 2nd unit with basic tools to start with.
After the mentoring session, we more often use the PESTLE and SWOT analysis to better understand our situation, which gives a better output. Even though it has been only a short period to evaluate the entire results, we can see a lot of changes in our mentality to counter problems and challenges.

ImpactThe program made me question some of the fundamentals and made me rethink how I see the world and position myself in a global perspective. The funding supported us in boosting our sales strength in providing the fund at the right time for marketing. The leadership session was the most useful aspect of Impact Link. It did help in asking myself questions on how to look at the market during these unprecedented times.

I understand my shortcomings better and now know better about what type of attributes should I exhibit in different roles.
The mentoring sessions delivered exactly what they promised and that helped us a lot. Every session had its own contributions, from understanding my role to handling finances to marketing and pitching your business I got to learn a lot. The sessions helped me improve not just as a leader but also in understanding my organization and business.

Rizq is a social enterprise that aims to fight hunger, malnutrition and food wastage in Pakistan by developing a marketplace for food philanthropy, connecting donors, nonprofits and end beneficiaries through technology to create transparent and effective channels for food distribution. Impact It was an amazing experience sharing the stage with such innovative enterprises and learning from such experienced mentors and industry professionals. The 5 day boot camp served as a crash course for all things a startup would need to fine tune itself and prep it self for scale.
The primary impact of the programme that I am anticipating is that I along with my management will be able to design my organization better, other than this I certainly came to know the importance of the legal side of our operations and how important they are for a social enterprise.
The mentoring was valuable because of the knowledge I have gained and the connections I have built. Today now I know who to talk to if I need help.
The funding helped us to hire vital HR to build out the store as well as purchase initial inventory to get started.

Impact: Attending the bootcamp wasn’t easy and a reminder to how hard entrepreneurship be can be. But it was worth it. Managing to taking out time to attend the bootcamp learning leadership skills. Making new connections was something worth the dedication. I must say the program was a door into solving one of your biggest issues ie winning the grant. Also making the milestones helped us better make the gant chart and luckily we were able to use the funds in the right manner as well as meeting our business plans time line.

Bridge The Gap' App will be helping marginalized people and youth to trace free and easily accessible SRH services available around them. We have developed myths bursting literature (English/Urdu) on Family Planning. We do theater plays and open mic session to market the application across PakistanImpact During this Pandemic time, a lot of people do feel like opportunities are disappearing or maybe this time is not the best to implement further ideas but platforms like Impact Link help us to believe that when one door closes other ones open. I have been more optimistic than before.
I was able to know more ideas which are implemented, how mentors have overcome the issues and how as a young leader the journey makes us a leader.
Bootcamps like this experience not only creates a network but helps to grow more and more and makes us create out of the box ideas with effective implementation.

Green Box is a youth-driven engagement lab nurturing sustainability leadership in Pakistan. We are developing a community of young people for environmental action and accountability. We are doing this through tools, practical experience, and network to drive change nation-wide.Impact - The programme served as a great platform to connect with other social entrepreneurs and mentors part of the ecosystem here in Pakistan. I now have more awareness about the so cent ecosystem and thus able to make more verified decisions in terms of my role. The mentorship and funding has supported the start-up in different ways, strengthening our existing programs and providing us with a platform to launch new programs. The week long bootcamp included relevant sessions for budidng social entrepreneurs in Pakistan, each posing further thought-provoking sessions for us to apply to our ventures and create a stronger base! It was great to see the various pain-points that are being solved by the youth across the nation!

We have developed an eye gaze controlled wheelchair that helps them to move around on their own without being dependent upon someone. Globally 1/50 people are paralyzed and can't move on their own. In my case my father lost his life due to such disability and that's my cause to start this venture.Impact To me it was a blessing to be a part of this amazing bootcamp. It was a great source for strengthening the network and to discuss what you can learn from each other. In terms of learning I would say these five days were phenomenal. I am very excited to apply my upgraded knowledge to solve the problems that we are facing in our entrepreneurial journey.

Islamabad Mentor: Graham Miller, MiMi Myo Win, Maryam Arshad, Chaudhry Talha Funding: £2,200 from UNDP Pakistan
Life Saving App is Pakistan's 911! As Pakistan does not have an integrated 911/999 emergency management platform for the masses. There are over 735 emergency helplines and through our efforts, we are trying to facilitate Pakistani citizens by providing a singular platform to which they can turn to while they are in need. Impact I found the Impact Link: Social Enterprise Challenge 2020 boot camp very refreshing and helpful! It was great to be with such aspiring social entrepreneurs from all across the country and I look forward to adding value for one another wherever possible during our journeys. Every single mentor was an expert of his domain and sessions went interactive. Examples were from real life. Positively, with this funding – we would be able to save many more lives, our office space lets us assemble for saving people, Our App lets people to help themselves in their emergencies including blood arrangements, our field teams help people on ground. Every single bit adds contribution to social impact that’s enabled by this grant.

ConnectHear is a social start-up led by aspiring youth working for sign language accessibility and deaf-inclusion in Pakistan. We focus on sign language literacy and deaf accessibility.
Impact: Going through the bootcamp was definitely a very welcome challenge due to how rigorous it was and despite being all-online, it very effectively helped me push myself out of my comfort zone and come at the end of it more knowledgeable, connected and insightful.

We are a for-purpose enterprise that envisions to enhance the lives and livelihoods of the rural people through appropriate design of interventions. One of our interventions is to scale up appropriate innovations through local entrepreneurship and institutions. Impact - Networking and Mentoring Support: “Rural Caravan works with tribal communities, trying to identify and build business and livelihood solutions for them. The constraints from tribal communities are so different from even rural India. The funding support was useful in undertaking a couple of high failure risk pilots with the tribal communities. The learning from these pilots has helped us to build stronger case studies for future implementation. Furthermore, on the mentorship, the concept in itself is a very wonderful undertaking. People from a vast set of experiences coming forward to share their knowledge. In my specific case, Mr. Clyne was helpful in sharing leads to couple of funding and grant making organisations. Mr. Clyne’s experience in setting up community-based business was insightful.”

We are a registered not-for-profit working towards the education of children with hearing and speech impairment since July 2016. It has created a higher education facility for the deaf children in Mumbai & since 2016 we have enabled 65 deaf children to pursue higher education.

Bags’N Stories empowers women in rural areas to earn a steady income by making high quality cotton bags and other products. It also addresses environmental issues by providing sustainable alternative options to synthetic materials and dyes, through the use of organic cotton in the products. Impact: The support from Impact link has helped BAG'N STORIES in 2 ways. 1. The Rebuilding Income steams tool kit has helped us reflect on our strengths and weaknesses, which helped us compartmentalize our effort for better results; better orders and bringing new product line. This also has improved our relationship with our stakeholders (Women). 2. Financial support enhanced our tools and skill base, and gave freedom to venture into a new product line-up. And also it has helped us to open our 2nd unit with basic tools to start with. After the mentoring session, we more often use the PESTLE and SWOT analysis to better understand our situation, which gives a better output. Even though it has been only a short period to evaluate the entire results, we can see a lot of changes in our mentality to counter problems and challenges.

Impact: Being a leader it [Impact Link] helped in effective visioning exercise, better understanding of the business economics. What really stand out for me was how Non-Profits like Ours can think of sustainable revenue streams and how to shift from Grant Based to revenue based self sustained. Understanding use of Economic/Financial Terminology effectively has helped not only in planning for the budget but creating effective contemporary “Corporate Understandable” Budget sheets. Self Reliant India addresses the problem of “Ineffective school environment and unsupportive home & community environment” which results in poor student learning outcomes and early dropouts of students belonging to low economic sections. Daksha Empower Ability Foundation provides sustainable vocational training as well as employment to People with Disabilities (PWDs).After receiving this support, we have revised our strategies on Cooperation, Coordination, Collaboration and Co-ownership, which are the basic management principles of our organization. Impact can be assessed as Collaboration. We have been focused on Handicraft items previously but now we have started focusing on "Daksha Flora Nursery" which is in demand in city and also gives financial sustainability to organization. We are organizing counselling Workshops for Persons With Disabilities so as to motivate them that they have ability to work efficiently and contribute towards economically strengthening of family as well.

Kritsnam Technologies is an integrated platform for complete water resource management across States. By integrating data from water bodies, the gap is bridged between water users and water managers by providing the right amount of water at the right time. This achieves sustainable use of fresh water for agriculture and drinking purposes.
ImpactThe program made me question some of the fundamentals and made me rethink how I see the world and position myself in a global perspective. The funding supported us in boosting our sales strength in providing the fund at the right time for marketing. The leadership session was the most useful aspect of Impact Link. It did help in asking myself questions on how to look at the market during these unprecedented times.

Part of Humanetek, Mohafiz is an application that allows users to broadcast a life-threatening situation to your nominated In Case of Emergency (ICE) contacts through SMS. These may be immediate family members, neighbours or friends so that they can come to your assistance when you need it the most.
Impact - Leadership and self-reflection: “The program made me look at things from a different perspective... What I took from it was that most things aren’t rocket science – you just need the time to appreciate and recognise what needs done.”

Impact This program proves that being Transgender is not a hurdle of achieving your passion for social impact through business. I feel so glad to be the part of this platform that gives me strength and courage to achieve my dreams. The program was very useful to understand the different dynamics of social enterprise in depth. This program has given a direction and a road map for our organization as a sustainable model for transgender led businesses. The mentorship experience was too good as it was not only skilful but also trans friendly.

The boot camp gave me tools to whip my business idea into perfect shape; I did manage to fill in some of the blanks that I had previously with the help of mentors

Mobiliti is a mobility aid and rehabilitation equipment design and development startup with the aim to break the wall of disability and enabling our users to socially integrate by generating positions where our product users will be the ones manufacturing the products. Impact - This programme was a complete package of improving ourselves and our companies. I understand my shortcomings better and now know better about what type of attributes should I exhibit in different roles. The mentoring sessions delivered exactly what they promised and that helped us a lot. Every session had its own contributions, from understanding my role to handling finances to marketing and pitching your business I got to learn a lot. The sessions helped me improve not just as a leader but also in understanding my organization and business.

Rizq is a social enterprise that aims to fight hunger, malnutrition and food wastage in Pakistan by developing a marketplace for food philanthropy, connecting donors, nonprofits and end beneficiaries through technology to create transparent and effective channels for food distribution. Impact It was an amazing experience sharing the stage with such innovative enterprises and learning from such experienced mentors and industry professionals. The 5 day boot camp served as a crash course for all things a startup would need to fine tune itself and prep it self for scale. The primary impact of the programme that I am anticipating is that I along with my management will be able to design my organization better, other than this I certainly came to know the importance of the legal side of our operations and how important they are for a social enterprise. The mentoring was valuable because of the knowledge I have gained and the connections I have built. Today now I know who to talk to if I need help. The funding helped us to hire vital HR to build out the store as well as purchase initial inventory to get started.

With our eco friendly bike, we aim to bring carbon emissions to zero, make transition from combustion engines to electric vehicles and switch to sustainable energy
Impact: Attending the bootcamp wasn’t easy and a reminder to how hard entrepreneurship be can be. But it was worth it. Managing to taking out time to attend the bootcamp learning leadership skills. Making new connections was something worth the dedication. I must say the program was a door into solving one of your biggest issues ie winning the grant. Also making the milestones helped us better make the gant chart and luckily we were able to use the funds in the right manner as well as meeting our business plans time line.

Bridge The Gap' App will be helping marginalized people and youth to trace free and easily accessible SRH services available around them. We have developed myths bursting literature (English/Urdu) on Family Planning. We do theater plays and open mic session to market the application across PakistanImpact During this Pandemic time, a lot of people do feel like opportunities are disappearing or maybe this time is not the best to implement further ideas but platforms like Impact Link help us to believe that when one door closes other ones open. I have been more optimistic than before. I was able to know more ideas which are implemented, how mentors have overcome the issues and how as a young leader the journey makes us a leader. Bootcamps like this experience not only creates a network but helps to grow more and more and makes us create out of the box ideas with effective implementation.

Green Box is a youth-driven engagement lab nurturing sustainability leadership in Pakistan. We are developing a community of young people for environmental action and accountability. We are doing this through tools, practical experience, and network to drive change nation-wide.Impact - The programme served as a great platform to connect with other social entrepreneurs and mentors part of the ecosystem here in Pakistan. I now have more awareness about the so cent ecosystem and thus able to make more verified decisions in terms of my role. The mentorship and funding has supported the start-up in different ways, strengthening our existing programs and providing us with a platform to launch new programs. The week long bootcamp included relevant sessions for budidng social entrepreneurs in Pakistan, each posing further thought-provoking sessions for us to apply to our ventures and create a stronger base! It was great to see the various pain-points that are being solved by the youth across the nation!

We have developed an eye gaze controlled wheelchair that helps them to move around on their own without being dependent upon someone. Globally 1/50 people are paralyzed and can't move on their own. In my case my father lost his life due to such disability and that's my cause to start this venture.Impact To me it was a blessing to be a part of this amazing bootcamp. It was a great source for strengthening the network and to discuss what you can learn from each other. In terms of learning I would say these five days were phenomenal. I am very excited to apply my upgraded knowledge to solve the problems that we are facing in our entrepreneurial journey.

Life Saving App is Pakistan's 911! As Pakistan does not have an integrated 911/999 emergency management platform for the masses. There are over 735 emergency helplines and through our efforts, we are trying to facilitate Pakistani citizens by providing a singular platform to which they can turn to while they are in need. Impact I found the Impact Link: Social Enterprise Challenge 2020 boot camp very refreshing and helpful! It was great to be with such aspiring social entrepreneurs from all across the country and I look forward to adding value for one another wherever possible during our journeys. Every single mentor was an expert of his domain and sessions went interactive. Examples were from real life. Positively, with this funding – we would be able to save many more lives, our office space lets us assemble for saving people, Our App lets people to help themselves in their emergencies including blood arrangements, our field teams help people on ground. Every single bit adds contribution to social impact that’s enabled by this grant.

ConnectHear is a social start-up led by aspiring youth working for sign language accessibility and deaf-inclusion in Pakistan. We focus on sign language literacy and deaf accessibility.
Impact: Going through the bootcamp was definitely a very welcome challenge due to how rigorous it was and despite being all-online, it very effectively helped me push myself out of my comfort zone and come at the end of it more knowledgeable, connected and insightful.
