Incredible animals.

Learning about animals is great fun. Whether it’s endangered African animals, sea animals, wild animals or pets, there are so many amazing types of animals that each have their own characteristics and behaviors. Living in all parts of the world, these animals include cats, dogs, insects, birds, gorillas, frogs, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, horses, sharks and many more.

LIONS

-Lions are the second largest big cat species in the world.

-The roar of a lion can be heard from 8 kilometers away.

ANTS

ANTS

-Ants can carry 20 times their own weight.

Queen ants can live up to 30 years, the longest of any insect.

CHEETAHS

-The cheetah is the fastest land animal in the world.

-They can reach a top speed of around 113 km.

-The liger is a hybrid offspring of a male lion and a female tiger.

-One fact is that ligers are very good swimmers and love to swim. Lions don’t like water.

A kangaroo has small eyes, small ears, short front legs, two strong black legs ,powerful tail and a pouch for babies. It is an hervibore animal that lives up to 20 years. They usually live in Australia. Fun facts-Kangaroos can jump very high, sometimes three times their own height.
