I started my military career with the Army in September of 1989, and after almost 21 years of service, I retired as Master Sergeant/First Sergeant in March 2010. During my career, I did all things related to Human Resources, as it's called today.

Personnel Non-Commissioned Officer In-Charge

• Responsible for ensuring soldiers were paid, recieved their bonuses, their travel pay/per diem was covered, and all things related to finance.

• Responsible for processing medical/dental claims or submissions for appointments, maintained soldiers' personal files, submitted for awards, promotions, and transfers.

• Responsible for bringing in new soldiers, assigned sponsors, and making sure soldiers received proper orientation and training when they arrived.

I met my wife Katherine in 1987; now we've been married for over 25 years! She's been part of my career from the start. Together we have four children: Daniel, Stacie, Nathan, and Josiah. Three remember my military days—only one is too young to remember.
