PARENT CANVAS ACCESS

STEP 1: GET YOUR PAIRING CODE

Obtain Pairing Code

Have your student log in to their Canvas Account. Students go to fisd.instructure.com. Log in with Student ID and birthday (mmddyyyy)

Open Account Settings.

STEP 2: SET UP PARENT ACCOUNT

Fill out the account form and enter the pairing code that you obtained in Step 1.

Go to Canvas and create your account at fisd.instructure.com

STEP 3: SET UP NOTIFICATIONS

Go into the account you just created and click on notifications.

Decide what notifications you'd like to receive from Canvas.

**Note - you can set up text notifications by adding a contact method in settings
