01. Where?

China is located in east Asia. Around 1.4 billion people live there.

The red dot shows where China's capital city is. It is called Beijing. However, it used to be called Peking.

02. Flag

The Chinese flag has a red background and 5 gold stars. One gold star is bigger than the others.

03. Animals

Can you guess which animal comes from China?

Pandas originally come from south-central China. Nowadays they mainly live in an area called Sichuan. They like to eat bamboo and don't really eat much else!
