GOALS
One of the main strategies in environmental terms is a change in the resource management model and a shift towards the circular economy. This system is based on the idea that all elements should continuously perform a function and should be reused at different stages in their life cycle. Unlike other economic models, the circular economy eliminates the problems of the linear model (extract-use-dispose) and avoids any kind of waste or emission.

GOALS
We are aware of the importance of combating climate change and therefore promote initiatives aimed at minimising the carbon footprint of our activities. Climate change is one of the causes of biodiversity loss, which is affecting the survival of the species unable to adapt to the new environmental conditions, proving difficult its conservation. In addition to being a limited resource, water is also a fundamental element in the Resort's activities and themed areas, so one of our biggest challenges is to manage this resource properly.

The concept of sustainable mobility has developed out of concern for the environmental and social problems caused by the inefficient use of transport. At PortAventura World we have implemented a number of sustainable mobility measures that help to minimise the impact on the environment. We will prioritise the modes of transport that consume less energy and produce fewer emissions per kilometre covered and passenger carried.
