HISTORY

The Mosque -Cathedral of Cordoba is abuilding in the city of Cordoba,Spain.It began to be built as a mosque in the year 786 , by the muslims .The building was subject to extensions during the Emirate of Cordoba and the Caliphate of Cordoba

In 987 In 987 the last major extension was made by Almazor , at the end ot the 2nd century. In this expansion the things more important are:4 more doors were made and the famous cistern was made

1- From the sixteenth century it was known how "Assumption of Our Lady 2- The bell tower was built around the remains of Abd al-Rahman III of the 10th century The bell tower of the cathedral, work of the late sixteenth century executed by Hernán Ruiz III, was built around the remains of the primitive minaret of Abd al-Rahman III of the tenth century (in fact the remains of the minaret are visible inside). The tower was closed to the public during its 20 years of restoration and was reopened in 2014. 3- Hide three small museum spaces inside The monumental Mosque of Cordoba Cathedral, houses three small museum spaces: the Visigoth Museum of San Vicente, the Treasure of the Cathedral and the Museum of San Clemente. 4- The Door of Forgiveness uat, vel illum dolore.

Gothic art was born in France in the 12th century and it spread across Western Europe in 13th century. The scenes had depth and the people showed emotions
