Tsunamis are gigant powerfull waves than most of them are caused by earthquakes.

Before a tsunami:If you see a sudden recession move to high ground either on foot or by car. During a tsunami: Wait until at least one hour has passed before returning home. Do not touch fallen power lines . If you are at home turn off the water and the electricity. After the tsunami: Don’t return home unless officials tell you it is safe to do so. Tsunami waves can continue for hours and the next wave may be more dangerous than the first.
