How do we ask questions in English?
SUBJECT QUESTIONS
WHO....?
- We use subject questions when we are asking for the subject that performs the action.
- We use WHO to ask for the person.
- We use WHAT to ask for the thing.
- These types of questions do not usually include "DO", "DOES", or "DID".
- When asking a subject question, we always use 3rd person singular.

- Who is excited? "The minions are excited"
- What is sweet and full of candles? The cake.
Object questions
Who...?
- We use obeject questions when we are asking for the object that receives the action.
- We can use WHO to ask for the receiver.
- We can also use WHAT to ask for the object.
- These types of questions go with "DO", "DOES", or "DID".
What...?

- WHO do you see in the image? "I see.... Bob Sponge and Patricio"
- What does the bear have? "The bear has a honey pot"

- We use WHERE to ask for a place or location.
- We use WHERE+AUXILIARY (do, does, did...)
Example: Where is Olaf? "Olaf is in the water"
When...?
- We use WHEN to ask for the time when something happens.
- We use WHEN+AUXILIARY (do, does, did...)
Example: When is the bear clapping? "The bear is clapping right now".
WHY...?
- We use WHY when we ask for the reason of something.
- We use WHY + AUXILIARY (do, does, did...)
Example: Why do they open a bottle? "They open a bottle because they are happy".cause they are happy".
HOW...?
- We use HOW to ask for the manner something is done.
- We use HOW+AUXILIARY (do, does, did...)
Example: How do you say 'feliz cumpleaños'. "You say 'Happy Birthday"
HOW OFTEN...?
- We use HOW OFTEN to ask for the frequency of something.
- We use HOW+AUXILIARY (do, does, did...)
Example: How often does the duck say "Yaaay". "The duck says 'Yaaay' all the time"
