Advanced Search
In order to get the best results from a Google search, there are some advanced searching features you can use. Students would really benefit from learning to use these, too. Try these yourself, then plan time in your lessons when it would be beneficial to show some of these to students (or schedule Tammy Turner to show them to your students). It would probably not be advantageous to show students all of these at once. Work them in where they make sense and are useful. Multimedia Presenter
Using a variety of different types of media can help reach more learners. Create a lesson through Canvas or have students create a presentation to teach their peers. Whether the lesson is teacher or student created, it should include a variety of media types. Media can include any combination of the following:

Lesson Tuning
The Tuning Protocol was originally developed for teachers to receive feedback and fine-tune their developing student assessment systems. Goosechaser
Create a Goosechase lesson and implement it with your students. Goosechase is a web-based platform where students complete “missions” based on tasks and info posted on signs around the room or hallways. The idea is to get students out of their seats and talking with others about their learning. They can submit pictures, videos, or text entries.
