AFF: Subj+ to be + verb (ing)+ CCShe is studying English now NEG: Subj + am not/isn't/aren't+ verb (ing)+ CC You are not listening to me INT: Am/Are/Is+ subj+ verb(ing)+CC? Are you doing your homework at the moment? When the main verb is a monosyllable and finishes in CVC, we double the Consonant: sit - sitting, chat- chatting, stop - stopping, clap - clapping, run - running.
