Cyprus officially the Republic of Cyprus is an island country in the Eastern Mediterranean . Cyprus is located south of Turkey, west of Syria and Lebanon, northwest of Palestine, north of Egypt, and southeast of Greece.

Nicosia is the capital and seat of government of Cyprus, and as such is the farthest southeast of all EU member states' capitals. It has been continuously inhabited for over 4,500 years and has been the capital of Cyprus since the 10th century.
Lmiassol is a city on the southern coast of Cyprus,It is the second largest urban area in Cyprus after Nicosia.

Paphos is a coastal city in the southwest of Cyprus . The current city of Paphos lies on the Mediterranean coast, about 50 km west of Limassol (the biggest port on the island).
Ayia Napa is a resort at the far eastern end of the southern coast of Cyprus.

Chyper is famous for many beautiful things like traditional clothes ,food and tourism.
*Traditional clothes :
The traditional clothing for women of Chyper includes the şalvar which is usually worn with upper garments of varying styles and lengths. The traditional şalvar suits are a part of Chyper's culture dating back to the Ottoman era. The şalvars are of varying degrees of bagginess and are gathered at the ankle. Bright colours and flowered prints are favoured by rural women. The total female ensemble includes the gömlek (shirt), şalvar and entari (dress).

The traditional male dress includes the şalvar, yelek (jacket) and cebken . The men's salvar is popular in eastern Chyper .

Kofte is the Chyper version of meatballs. Sold in a wrap as street food or served on a plate with rice and salad in restaurants.
