Sustainable Development
Sustainable development is based on three factors: society, economy and the environment. In the Brundtland report, it is defined as: Meeting the needs of present generations without compromising the possibilities of future generations to meet their own needs.
With the sustainable development we are going to satisfy our needs (solar energy, water, fuel...) but without wasting them. This means that the future generations will be able to satisfy the same needs. Otherwise, we would spend them all and there wouldn't be any more natural resources for everyone.
Sustainable Development
Sustainable development is a concept defined in the 1987 Brundtland Report, developed by different nations, which refers to development that meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
WRITE A TITLE
Today, the earth's resources are being used at a faster rate than ever before. And that is happening despite the fact that often those resources are finite. Sustainability means economising on available resources. People living in one part of the world today should not live at the cost of people in other regions of the world nor at the cost of future generations.
It is important to note that sustainable development does not refer to an immutable state of nature and natural resources, but it does incorporate a long-term perspective in the management of the same, so it is no longer aimed at "exploitation" Of natural resources but to a "management" of natural resources; It also emphasizes the need for solidarity with current and future generations and defends inter generational equity.
Vocabulary
