His life
Alfred Joseph Hitchcock was born on August 13, 1899 in Leytonstone (England), a middle class marriage to the vegetable trade. He was educated in Catholic schools, studying since 1910 with the Jesuits at St. Ignatius College in London. After finishing high school, Hitchcock studied engineering, abandoning the race because of the death of his father in 1914, fact that caused an economic decrease.In 1926 the English director contracted marriage with the scriptwriter Alma Reville. In the year 1928 was born their only daughter whom they called Patricia.
Beginning of his fondness for the cinema
The young Alfred began to be passionate about the world of cinema, getting his first work related to the film industry by joining in 1920 as a label designer for the Famous Players Lasky of the Paramount.In 1922 he filmed his first film, "Number 13" (1922), a title that could not be finalized because Paramount decided to close its studies in the United Kingdom.The first official film as director was "El Jardín De La Alegría" (1925),
Psychosis
Psycho is an American horror and suspense film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, starring Anthony Perkins, Vera Miles, John Gavin, Martin Balsam and Janet Leigh and first released in cinemas in 1960
The film takes place mostly in a lonely motel, housing a secretary, Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), who has run away with stolen money from her company.
