WHAT ARE BIRDS

Birds are warm blooded vertebrated (vertebrates have backbone) and are the only animal with feathers. All birds have wings, a few species can't fly.

HOW DOES BIRDS FLY

Birds fly by flapping their wings up and as well as forward through the air. The vertical motion of the wing is greatest farther away from the body

FEATHERS

Feathers make birds stand out from other animals, and birds are the only animals with feathers

there are two types of feathers: the vaned feathers wich cover the exterior of the body and the down feathers with are underneath the vaned feathers

BIRDS REPRODUCTION

The female may hunch to give the male easier balance. She will move her tail aside to expose her cloaca and will arch his body ao his cloaca can touch hers They are oviparous because in the most common cases they lay eggs

The diet of birds varies regulary, generally includes seeds, nuts, fruits and small insects.Birds diets, are different for domestic and wild
