When we draw an object on paper, we must to decide if the size matches its real size or we make it bigger or smaller. That is the reason why we need scales in technical drawing.
ACTIVITY 1: Open the book and look for the following definitions: - Scale. - Scale down. - Scale up. - Full scale. Write them down in a Google Drive text document and share it with your teacher (practicasmoises@gmail.com):
ACTIVITY 2: Search in internet for the distance (in kilometres) between Madrid and Barcelona. Apply it a 1:50000 reduction scale and calculate the new distance, in centimeters, that separate both citys in a map using that scale. Write the result in the same text document you created in activity 1.
