Voodoo dolls have caught bad rap for years because of their "evil" reputation. But, the fact is the use of voodoo dolls is based solely off of intention. In other words, they are not only used to "hurt" people. They can bring good luck, which is what i will explain in the information below.

Pins and Needles

When using a Voodoo Doll, there are pins that you insert inside the doll. The color of these pins are very important. These colors also could be the color of the doll to enhance its power. The colors are:

• White – positive, purification or healing.
• Red – love, attraction or power.
• Green – growth, wealth, money and fertility.
• Yellow – success and confidence.
• Purple – spirit realm, wisdom or psychic exploration.
• Blue – love and peace.
• Black – negative; it can be used to dispel negative energy or to summon it.

So, it is imperative that you know the correct colors for the correct situation. For example, If i wanted to encourage love and peace unto the spirit of the person I intended, I would use a blue pin and a blue doll. To enhance the spirituality and clarification of the spirit I would put a talisman/Token of that person such as a lock of hair, a photograph or an article of clothing. That way you may speak directly to the spirit of the person and persuade it to do as you please. Always remember: Voodoo dolls are objects of intention. Not evil, unless evil is intended.
