THE WAY SYPHILIS IS TRANSMITTED

ORDER OF SYMPTOMS
- chancre happens 3 weeks after explosure

- can be hidden in the vagina or rectum
- heals on its own in 6 weeks
- if not treated you could get latent syphilis
LATENT SYPHILIS

CURE FOR SYPHILIS
- doctors recomend one doce of penecilin
- pregnant woman take the antibiotic there child will also receieve it
- follow up with a periodic blood tests or exams to make sure you no longer have syphilis
HOW TO PREVENT SYPHILIS
- avoid being in a relationship with someone who had sex with someone else
- get tested: blood tests, fluid from sores and cerebral spinal fluid
- use latex condoms
- don't have oral, vaginal or anal sex
