CULTURAL TRANSMISSION:- Cultural transmission basically means the transfer of language from one generation to other. Like the language a family follows or speaks is the language that will be spoken by the coming or future generations.
PRODUCTIVITY This property basically is related with forming new sentences and actions etc by using already existing words of our language. It involves the infinite utterances made by the person. Production is a system in which something new or already existing is created therefore in language productivity can be defined as the quality of forming new sentences, showing different actions to make understand different meanings etc. In children, this productivity property is very strong as children are capable of forming new utterances which are unique and never heard before.
.ARBITRARINESS (ACROSS LANGUAGES):- Arbitrariness is usually the relationship between the spoken words meaning and its sound, and relationship between the signal and message. It increases the versatility and flexibility of the communication system. In short it means that there is no natural connection between the linguistic form and its meaning.

DISPLACEMENT:- The property of displacement includes the past or future events predicted that have not took place. It doesn't include the present situations or things etc. In other words it can be explained as the fiction world or talk about future about things, place or events etc, that you cannot say with guarantee that it will happen but you can only predict or assume that it may happen. Displacement is directly related with assumptions and fiction that may not exist in reality.
DUALITY:- Duality or double articulation, is the property in which language is specified or organized in two layers:- It basically means that different words when combined in different ways have different meaning. Like; nib bin Both have same words but pronunciation and meanings are different
DISCRETENESS:- In this property it is told that each sound meaning is different or distinct. Like p and b. Or m and n.
