The Characters

The Queen. She is a bad-tempered monarch, She is quick to decree death sentences at the slightest offense.

Alice is about 10, She likes to dream and is imaginative and curious. She happens to fall asleep and discovers the Wonderland...

The Tweedles are two fat brothers dressed in school boy uniforms and wearing propeller caps.

The Hatter can be rude When he is called upon by the Queen, he is very nervous and frightened.

The caterpillar loves smoking. He is rather strict and not very friendly,

The White Rabbit appears at the beginning of the book. He is wearing a waistcoat and repeating "Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!" Alice follows him down the wonderland....

The Dodo is a fat white bird wearing a coat with a scarf.

The Cheshire Cat has a large smile, he likes jokes.

Living things

The Golden key to the tiny door. Alice finds the key on a little table made of glass. She accidentally leaves the key on the table when she becomes tiny, so she is not able to reach it to unlock the door and enter the garden.

The Cards are the loyal servants of the Queen.

Mad Hatter: Would you like a little more tea? Alice: Well, I haven't had any yet, so I can't very well take more. March Hare: Ah, you mean you can't very well take less. Mad Hatter: Yes. You can always take more than nothing.

The Caterpillar tells Alice how to grow and shrink by eating the mushrooms upon which he is sitting.
